Why FUTO Keyboard

• I like the ethics and motivations of the people behind it as well as the organization.
• privacy focused
• no cloud processing, everything is local on device.
• whisper integration. I have been using the fast whisper models on my desktop for a few months now and clearly they are the better choice.

I tested it on tensor Pixel and an older Sony Xperia 5 III with Qualcomm chipset, it is clearly superior on the Qualcomm.

The keyboard itself has some problems compared to G-board, but that is ok. I am sure it will get better over time. Also the comparison is unfair when compared to the resources and talent that went into developing G-board as well as the data used to train it.

• English 74 is my go to now. I have yet to try out the Dutch
